Visiting Scholars Program

Visiting Scholars Program

The Minerva Center for Human Rights at Tel Aviv University (TAU) Faculty of Law is happy to accept international researchers who are engaged in Human Rights Law, Transnational Legal Studies, Social Work and other related areas.

Each year the Center hosts several Visiting Scholars from various locations around the world. Our visitors come to engage in independent research for different durations, ranging from several weeks up to 6 months.

As part of our program, visitors obtain access to all of the Faculty's facilities, including The David J. Light Law Library, home to one of the largest collections of legal publications and resources in the country. Visitors are also entitled to participate in a wide range of Faculty-organized events, as well as present and discuss their work with TAU Law's community of scholars.

Interested prospective Visiting Scholars should send the following information to the contact indicated below:

  • Résumé or curriculum vitae (CV);
  • List of publications;
  • A comprehensive description of the proposed research plan (2-3 pages);
  • Letter of recommendation;
  • Proposed dates and duration;
  • The name of a prospective full-time faculty mentor.

Applications should be sent to the Minerva Center for Human Rights at the Buchmann Faculty of Law, Tel Aviv University
