Biography

Margalit is a doctoral candidate at Tel Aviv University School of Law. Her doctoral dissertation, supervised by Prof. Menahem Mautner and Prof. Asa Kasher, aims to develop a theory of ethics in humor, with implications on the field of law.

Margalit completed her L.L.B and her L.L.M in Tel Aviv University, where she served as research assistant to Prof. Daphne Barak Erez in the field of Constitutional Law, and as teaching assistant in Civil Procedure to Dr. Shay N. Lavie.

Her debut novel is to be published in the beginning of 2015, by Kinneret-Zmora-Bitan Publishing.

2006-2007 – Deputy editor in "Exploring Social Rights: Between Theory and Practice"  (eds. Daphne Barak-Erez & Aeyal Gross, Hart, 2008). 

2005-2007 – Research Assistant to Prof. Daphne Barak- Erez in Administrative Law, Constitutional Law and Feminism.
