The Master's degree program in Law, in collaboration with the University of Berkeley - California, is designed for
experienced practitioners in commercial law - attorneys and partners in law firms, legal advisors in companies, judges, and government employees
.

A variety of courses are offered in the program, including corporate law and securities law, law and technology, commercial litigation, and business regulation. Furthermore, the curriculum provides a comprehensive understanding of economic analysis of law, game theory, finance, and empirical tools. Our approach integrates theory and practice. We believe that deep theoretical understanding allows us to better comprehend reality, operate more effectively within it, and develop a successful practice. The program provides an in-depth understanding of legal and economic theories, as well as practical tools which bring these theories to life.

The professors in the program are leading experts in their fields in Israel and the world, and the courses designed for the program reflect their expertise, experience, and ideas. Additionally, studying in a small and intimate class enables unique peer learning. The participants in the program are selected based on a combination of their previous degrees, professional experience, recommendations, and interviews. All of them have a rich professional background and diverse areas of expertise. Joint learning in and outside the classroom creates an intellectually stimulating environment that is unmatched in other programs.

A major advantage of the program is the collaboration with the Berkeley Law School at the University of Berkeley. The courses in Berkeley are all taught in English by professors of commercial and business law. In line with the program's basic philosophy, their lectures combine theory and practice and leverage Berkeley's location in the heart of Silicon Valley to provide students with direct exposure to entrepreneurs, bankers, and practicing attorneys in the hi-tech field.

Graduates of the program from previous years currently hold senior positions, ranging from managing partners in major law firms to legal advisors in government offices, and including judges in district courts and in the Supreme court. The joint studies have not only fostered friendships during the program and trips to Berkeley but have also led to business partnerships and connections both in Israel and abroad. Graduates of the Tel Aviv-Berkeley Degree Program are spread across the business and public sectors, all serving as ambassadors for the program's excellence and establishing its reputation as the leading Master’s degree program in law in Israel.
