Located at the heart of Tel Aviv, TAU Buchmann Faculty of Law is Israel's leading law school which offers an environment of excellence and educational intimacy in the form of renowned faculty, vibrant student life, ample opportunities, and extracurricular activities. Small by design, the faculty's impact on the legal world is measured by its accomplished graduates and its ongoing scholarship and outreach through numerous centers and projects. Among the Faculty's graduates are Supreme Court Judges, premier law practitioners, senior media members, accomplished businessmen and Members of Parliament.

The law faculty has been published in the most prestigious law reviews and university presses and our professors regularly lecture at leading law schools in the United States and Europe. Our faculty's scholars have a significant and continuous impact on Israeli law. Their research is widely discussed by academics abroad both in Israel and the international legal world. At the same time, TAU is a pioneer in the Israeli legal academy in pursuing important social causes through its vibrant legal clinics.

The Buchmann Faculty of Law encourages students to immerse themselves in the large variety of courses, seminars and workshops taught in English. Our TAU Law faculty members are experts in their fields and many having also studied internationally at top universities around the world. In addition, the faculty offers a variety of concentrated/intensive courses taught in English by visiting professors from leading universities.

We invite you to spend a semester (even a full year!) studying at our excellent Law Faculty! You will without a doubt gain exposure to Israeli culture and the legal environment while connecting with students from Israel and all over the world.

We also encourage our prospective exchange students to explore the Parasol Foundation International LL.M. program! If you studied at the TAU Law Exchange Program within the past five years courses who did not count towards your LL.B./JD or LL.M. degree at your home institution, let us know! Should you be accepted into our LL.M. program, our admission committee can consider up to 6 credits of qualifying courses towards your LL.M. degree at TAU and your tuition will be reduced accordingly. Your grade in such courses must be a minimum of 80. Pass/ fail courses will not qualify.
