TAU Law's Clinical Instructor, Atty. Itai Hermelin appointed judge to the Tel Aviv Magistrates Court

Instructor for the Criminal Justice Clinic, will be leaving the Faculty to become a judge at the Magistrates Court in Tel-Aviv.

TAU Law is proud to announce Atty. Itai Hermelin, instructor for the Criminal Justice Clinic, will be leaving the Faculty to become a judge at the Magistrates Court (Shalom Court) in Tel-Aviv. Atty. Hermelin, a former student at TAU Law, joins a long list of academic and clinical faculty members who have been appointed judges over the years, with the most recent being Prof. Daphne Barak-Erez who was elected Supreme Court Justice in 2012, and Dori Spivak, the former Deputy Director of TAU Law's Clinical Legal Education Program, who was appointed judge to the Tel Aviv Labor Court in 2011.

 

Itai's hard work, dedication and professionalism exemplify the Faculty's ethos and expectations in regard to its staff and students.
