Students should plan to live either in the center of the city or in the greater Tel Aviv area (called “Gush Dan”).

 

Cities just outside of Tel Aviv, such as Ramat Gan and Giv’atayim, often have more affordable housing options.  It is recommended that you start your search at least several weeks before arrival.

 

Also, please remember to factor in commuting times. Living close to campus or in central Tel Aviv may cost more, but it will reduce the time you spend in traffic to commute to Uni.
