Alumni & Friends

Being part of a strong social network

TAU Law graduates are seen in all senior positions across Israeli society – in judiciary, in private practice, in civil society and in the academy: in Israel and abroad.

Our alumni assume positions of power also in related areas of politics, business and media. These include six Supreme Court Justices, over 40 District Court judges, two Ministers, five Knesset members, over 100 managing partners at leading Israeli law firms, 5 acclaimed journalists and television anchors and a dozen of Israel’s leading businessmen.

Those talented graduates regard TAU Buchmann Faculty of Law as their professional home and will always remember it as the place that trained them to become the successful individuals they are today. The vision behind the establishment of the TAU Law Alumni Association in 2010 was to sustain and build upon this mutual pride: the pride the Faculty holds for its graduates and the respect the Alumni have for the Faculty’s achievements.

The  alumni are seen as the Faculty’s most valuable asset as their careers reflect the values they absorbed and the ability they acquired here to constantly innovate and re-invent themselves. Many alumni are reaching out to the Faculty and offer their assistance in teaching, in aiding needy populations, sponsoring research and creating academic ties with leading international institutions.

Our community of over 12,000 local and international alumni enjoys an active social and professional network. They use the Faculty’s facilities to hold receptions, to have reunions, to talk before students and more. They use our facebook page to share news from the Faculty, to hold interactive discussions, to promote the Association’s unique activities and to offer special job opportunities to their fellow graduates.

Yael Nathanel, Assistant Dean for Development and Alumni relations is the graduates’ point of contact at the Faculty. She will be happy to provide info and guide you through to our flourishing evolving community.
