Application

Do I need to speak Hebrew to study at TAU as an exchange student?
No, Tel Aviv University Law School offers a large variety of law courses taught in English. Each year we offer about 50 courses in English taught by permanent faculty members, all experienced in teaching courses in the leading universities abroad. In addition, the faculty offers a variety of concentrated/intensive courses, taught in English by visiting professors from leading universities abroad.

Can I study at TAU without an exchange agreement?
In case TAU doesn't have an exchange agreement with your Faculty or University, you can come through the International School. You can find more information here.

Which semester should I come?
It's up to you to decide the semester you would like to spend in TAU. Students can also spend only half of the term (the first or the second 6 weeks), because the English courses are constructed as intensive courses that run through the first or the last 6 weeks of each semester.

What type of visa will I need?

The process of obtaining a student visa must be done prior to arrival of  the student through the Israeli consulates abroad.

Please contact the Israeli consulate in your country and check which additional documents you need to provide.
