The Knesset Clinic
Established last year, this new Clinic aims to acquaint the students with the Knesset’s legislation and work processes: How is a bill born and how is it passed? How is it promoted and how does one inhibit its promotion? How do the committees work? What are the tools available to the Knesset members? What are the strengths and limitations of parliamentary review? How do the Knesset committees work and how do they make an impact?
In the theoretical portion of the Clinic, we will learn about the Knesset’s work mechanisms and analyze parliamentary moves, including moves made by the students during their practical work.
The practical work of the students participating in the Clinic will be executed in the office of a Knesset member. For this purpose, students will be required to attend the Knesset for one day a week.
