International Conference: Corporate Liability for Human Rights Violations and Holocaust Justice Litigation

The Buchmman Faculty of Law's Minerva Center for Human Rights and David Berg Foundation Institute for Law and History, and the Fondation pour la Mémoire de la Shoah hosted a panel-based conference that span two days (December 16-17), and included various talks and discussions relating to the intersection of historical justice the holocaust.
Housing as a Human Right: Tel Aviv and Berlin

Tel Aviv University's Minerva Center for Human Rights and David Azrieli School of Architecture, and Humboldt University of Berlin and organized and conducted an International Interdisciplinary Workshop on Housing right and urban justice in Tel Aviv-Jaffa and Berlin. The joint-conference took place Thursday December 20th at the Sonia Kossoy Conference Room (Room 307), in TAU's Faculty of Law, Trubowicz Building.
Workshop: Holocaust Class Action Litigation

The Buchmman Faculty of Law's Minerva Center for Human Rights and David Berg Foundation Institute for Law and History held on Friday June 22nd a theme-based workshop on Holocaust class action litigation against German and Swiss financial institutes and banks in relation to their involvement in Nazi crimes. The workshop, which took place in the Faculty's Sonia Kossoy Conference Room (307), brought together critics and scholars of legal history to launch a roadmap for multidisciplinary research and study of the topic.
International Joint Conference on Current Global Legal Issues

The Minerva Center for Human Rights and the Paula Goldberg Fund for International Law at the Buchman Faculty of Law, Tel-Aviv University, along with the Program of Law and Social Thought at Harvard Law School, and the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, hosted a joint International Law Conference entitled: Governance Without a State? Governmentality in a Global World. The special two-day conference was held at The Sonia Kossoy Conference Room (Room 307), on the 3rd floor of the Faculty of Law's, Trubowicz Building and included lectures by leading academics from Israel, the US, Canada and the UK.
The 12th Annual Lesbian and Gay Studies and Queer Theory Conference
May 20-22, 2012 - Tel Aviv University and Ben-Gurion University in Be'er-Sheva
The conference offered three full days of discussions with 13 panels dealing with many aspects of research and life issues, with a special emphasis of parenting in same-sex communities. In 2012 the conference hosted Prof. David Halperin from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor as keynote speaker.
The conference was co-sponsored by the Ben-Gurion University in Be'er-Sheva.
