Event in celebration of the Buchmann Faculty of Law’s victory at the international Jean-Pictet Competition

The public is inveited for a special event in celebration of the Buchmann Faculty of Law’s winning of the 32nd edition of the Jean-Pictet Competition. The event will begin with a lecture by Dr. Jean-Marie Henckaerts, head of the ICRC project to update the Commentaries on the 1949 Geneva Conventions and their Additional Protocols of 1977, titled "The Geneva Conventions at 70 – How to Interpret the Conventions 70 Years after Their Inception?", followed by a presentation by the winning team of the 32nd edition of the Jean-Pictet Competition Buchmann Faculty of Law students Tomer Levinger, Dina Wecker and Layan Yassin.
