At TAU Law, studies are about more than academic instruction and class work; we offer students a unique learning environment that helps them to become independent legal thinkers and prepares them for their professional pursuits.
Our curriculum includes a wide offering with over 250 challenging and innovative courses, seminars, workshops, and clinical programs in a broad range of subjects. Nearly 50 of these are taught in English by legal experts from Israel, affiliated faculty and visiting professors from some of the world's leading academic institutions.
The Faculty offers a number of different degree programs: a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), two LL.M. degrees, including a one-year International LL.M., taught entirely in English, and a Ph.D. program - the largest and most successful in the country. In addition to these we offer two joint executive programs aimed for Israeli lawyers: TAU-Berkeley LL.M. in Commercial Law and TAU-Northwestern LL.M. in Public Law. We are also proud to offer a variety of postdoctoral research opportunities for Israeli and international scholars.
Other than maintaining a high level of education, TAU Law’s wide range of programs, research centers and institutes enable students and scholars to engage in independent, cutting-edge research. Our centerpiece research institute is the Zvi Meitar Center for Advanced Legal Studies, which is home to many of the country’s leading research LL.M., Ph.D. and postdoctoral students.
