About the Legal Workshops
TAU Law offers its students a unique opportunity to participate in a diverse and highly-regarded workshop program, in which leading scholars from Israel and abroad present yet-unpublished research works in progress. Creating a forum for lively intellectual exchange, the workshops enables students direct engagement with current scholarship and make a significant contribution to the advancement of their studies. In particular, they allow them to develop and cultivate specific research interests.
Currently, the Faculty has ten such workshops; each devoted to a different topic. These address, among others, current legal aspects in international law, employment and social welfare, Jewish law, computing and IT, and more.
During their studies, students are presented with articles and papers in various stages of preparation, and are asked to give feedback, both verbally, in class and in writing. In most cases, there is a presentation by the work's authors and collaborators, followed by classroom discussion.
