Maya received her LL.B and LL.M in law (both magna cum laude) from the Tel Aviv University. Currently she is writing her thesis for PhD in law.
Maya's PhD Thesis, titled "The Litigation & the Adjudication Process in the Newly Established Administrative Courts in Israel", combines empirical and theoretical aspects of the changes in litigation and adjudication patterns, caused by the structural reform that created the administrative Courts in Israel. This research is conducted under the supervision of Prof. Issi Rozen-Zvi.
Maya's LL.M thesis (summa cum laude), which was also written under the supervision of Prof. Rozen-Zvi, dealt with the question: "Are there any justifications for leaving the Israeli High Court of Justice as a single jurisdiction in many administrative issues?"
