Alon Jasper is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Tel Aviv University. He was previously a Global Postdoctoral Fellow at NYU School of Law, affiliated with the Institute for International Law and Justice (IILJ), and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Law, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
He holds a PhD, LLM, and LLB from Tel Aviv University, Faculty of Law. During his studies, he was a fellow of the Azrieli Foundation and the Chief Justice Meir Shamgar Center for Digital Law and Innovation.
Alon’s research interests span administrative law and constitutional law, with an emphasis on the governance of infrastructures and the institutional dimensions of the judiciary, exploring in both registers their historical development and technological underpinnings. His work has been published in leading journals, including Law and Social Inquiry, and presented at major conferences. His empirical research on the social and professional composition of the Israeli judiciary has also been made accessible to the wider public.
