Computer Science meets Law: Emerging Challenges co-organized by The Chief Justice Shamgar Center for Digital Law and Innovation TAD Community on AI, Ethics & Law

The purpose of this workshop is to explore research approaches and interdisciplinary methodologies at
the intersection of law and computer science/data science. Our goal is to identify challenges of mutual
research, for theoretical and implementation research, and to establish a collaborative community to address
them. The format intends to facilitate moderated discussion, where each of the topics will be introduced by
two discussion leaders, one from each discipline. Discussion leaders will outline the main research questions
and challenges, and how they approached by their disciplines, followed by a roundtable discussion.
