Congratulations to Prof. Eyal Benvenisti on becoming a member of the Israeli Academy in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of International Law.

Prof. Eyal Benvenisti is a Professor of Law at the Buchmann Faculty of Law, the Whewell Professor of International Law at the University of Cambridge and a Global Faculty at NYU School of Law. Prof. Benvenisti is also the Director of GlobalTrust, a project exploring the concept of sovereignty and the moral and legal grounds for requiring states to take into account and accommodate the interests of individuals and communities in other countries.
