Suha is a Ph.D. Candidate at the law faculty of Tel Aviv University. Her dissertation, conducted under the supervision of Prof. Eyal Benvenisti, examines how the institutional context on which arbitrators act influence the judicial reasoning used in the awards. The dissertation focuses on investment treaty arbitration and applies theories of New Institutionalism, most specifically Historical Institutionalism and Constructivist institutionalism, to analyze the influence institutions have on the behavior of arbitrators and the development of the field.
In the year 2012 Suha was granted the scholarship of the Counsel for Higher Education in Israel for minority doctoral students. During her LLM studies she was granted a scholarship for distinguished LLM students of the Faculty of Law, Tel Aviv University, and a scholarship of the Cegla Center for Interdisciplinary Research of Law.
