Biography

Natan Lerner's main academic interest is discrimination in International Law. His latest book is Religion, Secular Beliefs and Human Rights (2ND. ed., 2012). In 2003 appeared Group Rights and Discrimination in International Law (2nd. ed.), and his The UN Convention on the Elimination  of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (2nd.ed. 1980) is being reprinted by Brill in  connection  with the 50th anniversary of the Convention. These   books were translated into other languages. Wrote  numerous articles in Hebrew, English and Spanish on related subjects. Member of the UN experts panel on freedom of expression and advocacy of hatred. Recipient of the Samuel  Toledano Prize. Emeritus Professor at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya.
