The Buchmann Faculty of Law proudly welcomes the Parasol Foundation International LL.M. Program Class of 2016
TAU Law proudly welcomes the Parasol Foundation International LL.M. Program class of 2016 to campus. 19 students representing 12 countries are starting their studies during the Mini Semester before the start of the fall semester, taking courses in Israeli Law, Law & Society, and Law & Economics.
They will visit the Supreme Court in Jerusalem and enjoy a private meeting with Justice Daphne Barak-Erez, former dean of TAU Law, and will also tour Neot Kedumim for team-building activities. The students will concentrate their studies in Global Governance & Human Rights; Law & Technology; or Law & Business, a new initiative of the LL.M. program.
The program's academic director Prof. Michael Birnhack said, "This diverse group of students, coming from civil law and common law backgrounds, will contribute to the globalization of legal studies at TAU Law both in class and in social activities. We, the professors, will benefit as much from them as they will from us – I am looking forward to their contributions in our advanced seminars and workshops, and welcoming them to the start-up nation."
