Challenges creating affordable housing: Israel and Germany

The Israel Affordable Housing Center invites TAU students to participate in a meeting with students from Kassel University in Germany

The Israel Affordable Housing Center (IAHC) at the Buchmann Faculty of Law invites TAU students to participate in an open meeting with graduate students from the department of Urban and Regional Planning in Kassel University, Germany.

During the meeting the IAHC staff and the guest students will present a critical perspective on the challenges of creating affordable housing in the two countries.

The IAHC was established to develop new tools in the field of housing policy and to advance policies to help medium and low-income households secure adequate and affordable housing. The Center is part of the Faculty of Law and is dedicated to research in the field of housing and the drafting of legislation and development of policy tools for use in this area.

The meeting will take place on 7 November, 11:00 at the Faculty of Law, Room 303.

The meeting will be conducted in English.
