Biography
LL.B from Tel Aviv University, 2003; LL.M from Columbia University in New York, 2008. Thesis entitled "Reconsidering Directors' Duties Under Israeli Law: The Challenge of Structural Bias". Currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Zvi Meitar School for Advanced Legal Studies, Tel Aviv University. Itai's doctoral thesis focuses on the regulation of related party transactions.
Taught Communications Law at Sapir Academic College in 2007. Taught Corporations Law at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya from 2009-2012. Served as a teaching assistant for a variety of Corporations and Securities Law classes at several academic institutes. Currently serving as a teaching assistant in a Corporations Law course at Tel Aviv University.
Published a number of articles on Corporations and Securities Laws, some of which have been cited by the Israeli courts. Was part of a think tank that submitted a policy paper to a Committee headed by the Finance Ministry Director-General charged with reevaluating corporate reorganizations in Israel.
Lives in Tel Aviv with his wife, Simone, their son, Aviad and Max, the family dog.
